Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 Beta - Virtualization and Interoperability

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 Beta is now available this is the fifth update to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

Since its release in March 2007, the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 has been in broad use by enterprise customers.

It is expected that this new platforms will leverage Red Hat’s history in scalable performance, providing new levels of core counts, memory and I/O.

An important feature of this new update is that the kernel and user application programming interfaces (APIs) will remain unchanged
